Landfill Level Logging System

Meteor have provided a level logging system to a closed landfill site near Bradford for Enitial, reporting borehole depths in real time through a secure web portal. The turnkey project was managed by Meteor, taking an outline specification from the client and covering equipment manufacture through to installation and system commissioning.

Utilising a MCC-972XS telemetry unit up to four pressure transducers can be monitored from a single location. Housed in a robust aluminium mini kiosk the equipment is protected from the elements and local intrusion. The system also has scope for additional inputs to be added, such as rain gauges, conductivity or temperature probes. Alarms can also be configured based on level and sent via email or SMS.

The system was installed at short notice based on the customer requirement and was operational immediately following installation. Feedback from the Enitial Project manager:
