The MCE-MRC Low power robust camera system has been specifically developed for this application, enabling high quality real time images from remote locations. It can be deployed to any site within minutes, delivering high quality real time images over 3G/GPRS. Data is sent to the MeteorCloud® where it has been securely viewed and assessed using any tablet, smartphone or web enabled viewing platform. Data can also be integrated into existing SCADA and data gatherers. Over 1000 MRC cameras are in service monitoring critical infrastructure for UK Government (Environment Agency, Natural Resources Wales, DFL Rivers), local authorities, Water Utilities, Network Rail and marine applications. Meteor can provide a complete service for infrastructure monitoring: Consult – Meteor can provide input on suitable monitoring locations and strategies based on previous experience and the aims of the monitoring. Installation – Meteor install the monitoring system and commission using in house field engineering teams. Field service – Meteor technicians are available to provide remote system support or field services as required MeteorCloud® – Data is available in real time on the MeteorCloud® from any web enabled device. In addition, alarms can be setup to alert users to changing conditions on site.
