The MCE-PCS Portable Remote Camera System
It is a complete autonomous system with PELI battery pack. The system consists of an MCE-MRC 4G/3G camera unit and 40m range IR illuminator. It can be installed onto existing structures such as street lights or fences and is supplied with robust quick release clamps for this purpose.
The MCE-PCS system includes a PELI power pack, which contains a 24Ah battery giving up to 10 weeks power. The Pack also contains a solar regulator, allowing connection of a 20W solar panel which will allow the camera to operate all year round. In addition the pack has inputs for external trigger sensors (ie water level switch, PIR).
The camera and illuminator are fixed within seconds using the quick release clamps and once plugged into the power pack the camera automatically connects to the mobile network and starts delivering real time images from site.
The MCE-PCS can accept connection to local sensors (eg water level) to automatically trigger enhanced image acquisition. Images are sent in real time to the Meteor Web Portal or can be directly sent via ftp or email for integration into existing SCADA or telemetry systems.
