The MCE-RPS-M Camera Mini Pillar System
It can be supplied as 12V DC or mains power variants Housed in marine grade 316 stainless steel the pillar enclosure is designed to withstand harsh outdoor environments. It can be installed directly onto standard kee klamp railing systems and is supplied with bracket to fit size 7 or 8 kee klamp as standard.
The Pillar system is fitted with the MCE-MRC camera module, along With a 10m range low power IR illuminator. The mini Pillar contains a Central Interface Unit (CIU) which provides quick release connections for individual components. A vandal resistant Puck antenna is fitted to the top of the unit.
With low power consumption the Pillar system can utilise existing DC battery / solar power systems or be connected to mains power sources. This means that the unit can be quickly fitted as an addition to existing monitoring stations.
The pillar can accept connection to local sensors (eg water level) to automatically trigger enhanced image acquisition. Images are sent in real time to the Meteor Web Portal or can be directly sent via ftp or email for integration into existing SCADA or telemetry systems.
