Field deployable Methanol Fuel Cell system

November 8, 2013/in News/by meteor

Meteor have developed a  Field Deployable remote power system using EFOY methanol fuel cells. The concept has evolved in house to provide a secure, fireproof unit which contains the fuel cell, battery pack and fuel cartridges. The battery pack is optimised to the required load and the characteristics of the fuel cell to ensure maximum efficiency. It is designed for easy deployment and to cater for high power loads, or for situations where solar panels would be too conspicuous.
