Environmental Technology Systems Engineer Vacancy

Training will be provided and it is expected that the individual will learn from the team as the role develops.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys and technical assessments
- Build, configure and test monitoring equipment and systems
- Install, commission and maintain field-based monitoring solutions
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and preventative maintenance
- Support system integration and deployment activities
- Provide excellent customer support and represent Meteor professionally on-site
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Assist with documentation, reporting and continuous improvement activities
Essential Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK (with occasional overnight stays) and potentially overseas
- Be self-motivated and willing to work both as part of a team and independently
- Competent problem solver
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise work requests
- A full UK driving license is essential.

Location
St Albans, Hertfordshire with regular travel for business.
Role Type
Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday – Friday
Salary
£25-35K depending on experience
