Environment Agency Project Excellence Award for Meteor Flood Defence Camera Network
In conjunction with the Environment Agency Solent and South Downs Flood Resilience Team, part of Flood and Coastal Risk Management (FCRM) and Internal Environment Management, part of Corporate Assets, Safety, Health, Environment and Wellbeing (CASHEW), Meteor have collected the Environment Agency Project Excellence Award in the Asset Management category at the Flood and Coast Conference gala dinner ceremony held at the Telford International Centre.
The award is in recognition of the excellent work by the teams involved on projects that demonstrate innovation, creativity and social value whilst embedding a safety and sustainability culture.
The Environment Agency Flood Defence Camera Network utilizes over 150 fully operational Meteor Remote Mobile cameras integrated into a shared environmental web portal for operational and community based social media interaction.
