The Environment Agency has awarded a 4-year contract to Meteor Communications for the provision of telemetry systems, services and MeteorCloud data hosting for water quality monitoring systems located in English rivers and bathing waters. The contract was awarded on 7th June 2019 and ensures continuity of data from around 250 real-time water quality monitoring outstations. Meteor’s ESNET Modular Monitoring Systems give 24/7 web-based access to high resolution water quality data. This provides the Agency with timely, cost effective and meaningful evidence helping to focus resources where they are most needed.
